Sherry, one thing I've noticed about your garden is how fast your roses grow, and I've read about your soil prep so I know how much you rely on organics, manure, etc. Just the difference in the Natch N pictures makes me wonder if the bloom problems in the second pic were because of fertilizer needs. Your good soil prep and and climate seem to be so conducive to growth, that coupled with your sandy soil and constant rain lately, that I wonder if the N is being depleted really quickly, so something like a fast acting nitrogen is a good fix for right now. Makes me think that your feeding program next year needs more N overall...? I have been using Milorganite; some people don't like it because of suspicions about heavy metals, etc., but my roses sure like it. Anyway, just a thought. just one more anecdote, Hermosa for me started getting those washed out blooms like your NN. I got so disgusted that I cut it down to 6 inches and started feeding it Miracle Grow frequently. It snapped out of it, regained its lost growth and the bloom color went back to normal. That is purely anecdotal, but it makes me wonder if that's what caused the NN problems too. I don't know, just thinking aloud, so you know what that's worth! Love ya, Gean

Go to blackjungle.com and look at the pics, they take you step by step, the great stuff foam, when done correctly will give you a background so realistic that I have yet to see any other process even come close, and as mentioned in the other post, it is a great way to hide all the hoses and wires that can become a clutter inside the tank, you want your tank done realistic looking and done right? then this is the way to do it, Ive seen tanks with coco sheets glued to the rear and side walls, it looks good, but, it looks like a fish tank (rectangle) covered in coco sheets! The expanding foam gives you the option of cliffs, caves, ledges, you can place pots in place and hide them with foam, all kinds of options! I love the stuff! as for drainage, I placed drainage tube in place under the pot before I used the foam, as a matter of fact, I made sure everything was in its place and then sprayed the foam around everything, it holds stuff in place, and hides all the stuff you dont want people to see, go to blackjungle.com and see for yourself, you wont regret it if you do it step by step, it will look like a little chunk of the rain forest! =)

Thank you all for your support it means the world to me. I've always been the type to beat myself up for not knowing how to do the things just right. It would not be so bad if dad's mind wasn't clear as a bell right now. His abuse of his medicine is a real concern for me. I got a call from him today saying he needs his antibiotic for his sinus, well he'll only take one or two and he says it cures his sinus. You and I know this isn't so and even if it does help it's short term, taking the antibiotics like that can cause harm but no one can get this through to my dad. I have had so many problems with doctors in my past that I don't trust them easily. It was me that saved my husband from a possible stroke, his blood pressure was high and I could tell when it was up but with the sleep apne he had to take showed how bad it was. They could not get it down all night so I marched into our dr.'s and told them about this and they looked back at his chart and seen that it was high everytime he went in for a check up. Now why don't they pay more attention to this? This is why I fear looking for yet another doctor. I have no luck with them. Only once did I have a wonderful doctor and within a year my insurance changed and he didn't take it :( He was the one that listen to me about my weight and took test finding that my thyroid was bad. I went through years with a sore throat and my throat closing up at night in my sleep, waking up unable to breath for 10 or so seconds but felt longer and didn't know if I'd get my breath. If it's wasn't for y'all I don't know if I'd be able to be strong for my dad. I never knew it could be so hard. I look at pictures of my grandparents, dads parents and talk to them and wishing they were here. They had a hard life and I can just image that they went through just what I am now. They took care of my great grandmother for 17 years then told my grandmothers brother it was time for him to care for his mother and give them a break. Great grandmother was called little granny and I never seen pictures of her but heard great stories about her, I found a picture of her the other day and I'm so happy to finally seen her, she past away a few years before I was born. lyban, that's what I tried to do so I'd have fabric to make pillows, but when I got to the final order page it said they weren't available. Maybe they just don't have the eight panels I need so that's why it shows on the first page they still have them. I've never had that happen before so I could have held them in my "shopping bag" too long to get them all too. Whatever happened it's water under the bridge. I did get one panel in sixty three inch to use as fabric though. I figure it was what was meant to be. The chocolate chip or desert sand should make it easier to find rugs and other accessories. In fact some of which I have already.
