My strawberry plants are being eaten by something..what can I do?

I am growing some strawberry plants in on the deck. Today I noticed that several of the leaves--the mature ones--resembled webbing as something dined on them. Also, there were little black...things...around the damage. The whole set-up looked like my tomato plants after those tomato-eating-larve finds them--you know, the ones that look like sugar snap peas. In that case, the black stuff is (I assume) fecal matter. In the case of my tomato plants I can just pick off the large green-like fat worms, but I don't see any such invaders on my strawberries. What are my options? Thank you.
