question on blueberries

I have two different varietals of blueberry that are each in large pots. While one shrub has more berries than the other, in both instances the berry growth seems a bit stilted... I'd read somewhere to give the leaves a spray with dluted fish fertilizer, which I did in March, May and June. In May and June, I also added a very small amount of diluted blood meal to the soil.

Note that my balcony gets maybe 2-3 hours a day of direct sun, and the rest of the day is bright sun (but not direct).

Any ideas then, why berry size seems a bit stilted...or should I give them more time to grow...it's normal at this time of year to still be growing? I DO know that once they seem ready to harvest, the process for properly doing so...(that many people tend to try and harvest the berries too soon).

Tx!
