I left somethings in the nightstand drawer when my sister and I were in Las Vegas this past summer, when my Mom passed away. It was mostly costume jewlery but they called my sister in Canada to let her know. The room was in her name. The items were taken to the security area in the casino and she had to fax an ok for the security people to release it to one of my parents neighbors. They were kind enough to offer to go and pick it up for me..... and I got it from them on my next trip out there. I think after a few years it might be too late though. I'm surprised the hotel management didn't call you if they found it..... but it might not have been turned in. I was lucky.

Back again. Les is doing OK. But not great. Last year was not a great one in my gardens. I think I have it figured out. Since a wheelchair will not roll in the dirt with me in it, I will use it as a walker, then sit to hoe and weed. And I have a couple of preteen boys who promises to help auntie Theresa next door. I plan to intimidate ken as I'd done before. It feels great to be back. Theresa Ann

bkay I still haven't been able to do this with consistency. I have contacted Houzz and was told they don't support the hosta forum,contrary to their claims. It is driving me crazy. I am back to my laptop and still have the problems with Houzz. Anyone else with old Theresa on this?

Wish there was a news station that would just report good news and stories of good and decent people doing things to help others and the world in general. I am so sick of constant reporting of "celebrities" who are nothing more than entertainers whose millions are funded by normal people! Maybe if more of these stories were reported, it would encourage people to know they can make a difference. I was asked to rescue an old dog once - Tucker. One of the best dogs I ever had. So wonderful of that little boy to help these older dogs! Years ago I was in Houston visiting a nursery........I had either forgotten my credit card or run out of cash and only had a check to pay for my loot - I figured the nursery wouldnt take an out of town check. The owner said oh honey dont worry about that - gardeners dont write bad checks! Always remembered that! If more people would garden the world would be a better happier place!
