Comments (13)Thank you Kathi....they do smell heavenly. Wish I could say they're mine....but, they aren't. These pix are all taken on the campus where I work. The local Master Gardeners plant and tend to the Rose Garden located on the campus. They are wonderful people and so knowledgable about all the varieties they have planted there. They were just on campus last week to put down fresh mulch and tidy up. I wish I had a thimble full of their rose expertise...again, thank you for your wonderful compliment....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Sun June 05

It was one of many bushes here that my daughter dug up and saved from the construction site. Daughter has the rest in her gardens. Peonies are tough!...See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Tues June 14
Comments (13)Oh yes, there will be beans, and thank goodness, they aren't on our property. The house next door that has been empty and uncared for in the last 9 years, had just one huge mature tree. But is these last 9 years Catalpas have come up all over and are now bearing flowers. Love their perfume and the flowers, but the huge leaves and the beans travel well come fall. Catalpas around here are considered junk trees. There are 3 non bearing ornamental Catalpas on that property that anyone would consider to be dead. This is one of the 3 ornamental Catalpa there. A short, about 12', rounded crown tree. Still the extra large leaves, but no flowering. The trunks on all 3 are split like this and mostly hollow, but they leafed out beautifully again this year....See MoreAlisande
