Comments (13)Thank you Kathi....they do smell heavenly. Wish I could say they're mine....but, they aren't. These pix are all taken on the campus where I work. The local Master Gardeners plant and tend to the Rose Garden located on the campus. They are wonderful people and so knowledgable about all the varieties they have planted there. They were just on campus last week to put down fresh mulch and tidy up. Comments (6)A Tang horse I bought during my trip to China in March. I bought it from a small vendor at the Great Wall in Mujianyu. It didn't come with a wood base like all my other Tangs have so I asked our neighbor Burt, who is a woodworker, if he could make one for me. For a fee of course. He made two so I had a choice, both from exotics woods, with names I can't even pronounce and had it to me in less than a week. I was thrilled with both but chose this one to use. He refused any payment. Yesterday I took a photo of the horse and base and made a thank you card to send to him. 11 years agoWe have all kinds of lizards here, tiny ones and really big ones. Once a big one was on the top edge of the shed door which I didn't see. When I opened the door, it fell on top my head. You heard me scream 10 miles away.
Size comparison, DH's hand and he has pretty big hands.
