Are you talking about the ornamental curry plant? I think it's Helichrysum or something like that-- the fine leafed silver one? I have a little start I can send you-- has roots and is growing in a container of mine right now. I've never fertilized mine, with the exception of the occasional miracle grow in the watering can... Black leaf tips is sometimes a result of over=feeding, especially nitrogen. If you have been spraying them with anything that could be a cause too. Otherwise, without seeing the plants, it is just guesses. Dave

Manzanitacrow, you can try posing in the plant exchange forum to request a seedling. I got my seedling from a coworker. He told me that there are tons of seedlings around his mother plant. The unfortunate thing is that my plant does not seem to grow at all. I transplanted it in the ground and it still has not done much for the whole summer. I have to soon dig it up and overwinter in the house in a pot.
