Are there spiny bumps on the main stems? The leaves in your photo kind of look like pictures of Aralia spinosa, Devil's Walking Stick.

No spines.

I keep wanting to call it a CM Omar. I just haven't seen one that looks quite like this one. I have a Natchez on the other side of the house so it could very well be the offspring of it. However the leaves on my Natchez look a bit different and the structure isn't nearly so symmetrical. But then it's much older than this plant. I'd certainly be quite happy to have another Natchez.
Maybe this year it will bloom and I'll see for sure.

In 07 I had identical seedlings around my house, they were all from my Natchez Crape Myrtle. That was another year that we got so much rain and Lake Travis flooded, all of the ramps were closed because you couldn't see the

Hi Annie, we had the Hercules club at the old place also and I have cut my hand many a time thinking they were CM and tried to rip them out

I was just reminded that the suckers sometimes looked like that just not as wide. I know you said the CM is on the other side just another example that they can look like that sometimes

There's a lot of variety in the pantheon of crepe myrtles, just looking at that one pic, this is tagging all the earmarks. Unless it's in an inconvenient spot, I'd leave it at least until it flowers or displays something positively identifiable.
