Im a grandma x 7

New grandson born today. I don't have details such as weight etc but his name is Joseph and he will be greeted at home by two brothers and a sister. Can't wait to see him.

Thanks for the congrats. I'm anxious to see her, but it may be awhile. Isn't Delany a pretty name? I imagine she will be called Lanie. Her 2 year old brother can say Lanie. I'm worried about Brandon, thats what our fight is about. My son thinks I'm overreacting. He is an undercover vice detective working with abused children, but won't see what's happening at home. I'm not giving up, I'm still my grandsons advocate. I just have to be careful she doesn't cut me out completely. She can be very loving towards Brandon She runs "hot & cold".

Congratulations Great Grandma! I became a great grandma at 60 too. My Great grandson is now 7 years old and the best thing that ever happened to me. I was 20 when 1st daughter born, my daughter was 20 when my granddaughter was born and Granddaughter was 20 when great grandson was born. Now if I make it to 80, maybe I'll have a great great Grand? :o)

redefines my use of the word BOX ... its a flat square ... no sides ... no matter what you plant there.... you will have a 2 or 3 year battle of getting it established ... not only in regard to watering... but also.. the shear heat of the blistering sun reflecting off that white cement... baking the tree itself ... many hours after sunset.. as the cement will retain day heat.. long into the night.. when most garden plants.. get a recovery period .... and that is most likely.. why this tree failed .... i wish you luck ken

benjesbride I absolutely LOVE this idea! Is moving a waste line more of an issue than moving the plumbing lines? I've always hated that the toilet is right at the door and would like to add a partition wall between the would be new vanity and toilet location. There is a vent in the rear of the existing shower (from bottom to top of building) that is about 12" wide. It's goes all the way to the end of the foyer closet. That leaves us with about 72" of space along the foyer closet wall to add a toilet and vanity. I think the toilet requires 30" so a 42" double vanity (or two smaller single vanities). We cannot have washer/dryers in this complex (old 1950's plumbing). But I've always complained about no linen closet in the bathroom so that works too. I'd like to move the door to the foyer; however, that would require a split vanity due to the heating pipes in the middle of the room along the wall behind the existing door. No, we are not adding a bedroom. That may be a later addition though, years from now. An neighbor converted the rear of the living/dining area to an office/bedroom (photo below). I've tried to adjust the floor plan to add the vent/shaft in the rear of the shower. It may not be worth the time and expense to open up the foyer wall if we can't get a great layout.

Sjerin and all well wishers, thanks for your thoughts. My daughter and her family live about 1.25 hours from me, another daughter is about twenty five minutes (two grandkids at that house) and one daughter about an hour away. I'll be heading to Virginia Tuesday for several days to help out. Can't wait to snuggle that little one.
