Comments (12)Open Mycomputer from the desk top choose properties tell me how much ram is installed? Then open in Mycomputer again put your mouse over Local Disk, a small window will pop up, what does it say about Disc space it should list the total hard drive size, and amount of free space left on Disc. ******You might consider getting rid of Norton it does not get along with some PCs and there a very good free Anti Virus Programs available. Just so you know removing Norton usually requires a special removal tool to get rid of it all, if this is not done left over files will be left, it's a simple process but needs to be done correctly....See MoreLaptop Webcam
Comments (125)I have a HP laptop with windows 7 so it may not be the same but if I click on the start button and type webcam in the search programs and files box my webcam is the first thing listed in the search result. I can right click on the name of the webcam and select send to and choose desktop. it will make a shortcut on the desktop. Or I can choose pin to taskbar or pin to start menu from the drop down list. Comments (5)Sounds like registry corruption to me. What operating system? If it's Vista or Win 7 boot to the advanced options menu by pressing F8 during restart. At the advanced options menu choose "Repair Your Computer" XP will not have that option. In XP you could try Booting to the advanced options menu and simply choosing "Safe Mode" see if a restore can be done from the safe mode....See MoreTry to fix or just do a system restore?
Comments (13)yes I did the custom install, and now have FF7.01. Some of the toolbar settings have carried through, most have not...only 3 add ons came through. Do you know of any way to find the list of add ons that I had so I can just hopefully enable them? I sure hate the thought of going through all that again. Things like this are what makes me say I live in the land of "IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT." But that would be too easy wouldn't it. thanks for your guidance......See More- 11 years ago
