I know you said species or primary hybreds, BUT, if you change your mind and want a Catt for a Catt I have one Sc CS "Aileen" and two potinara "Afternoon Delights" left. And I have just the spot for a King George. There are others on your list I'd like but my only species avaliable is a Phal equestris seedling from Oak Hill Judy

Thanks for bringing this back around, posierosie! I remember still being a lurker when I was so inspired by her beautiful gardens. gottagarden had a knack for plant placement, that's for sure. It's good seeing Iris interspersed throughout the garden like this. I planted 'Batik' last year and will be so happy if it looks like the ones pictured here.

It looks like HF Young, but there are a bunch of clematis that have similar color and bloom time that it could be, including Fujimusume, Silmakivi, Lasurstern, Zara, Cezanne, and Diana's Delight. There are also some with similar color that bloom a bit later, including Prince Charles.
