Ooh, Mariann, I couldn't imagine even running a comb through my hair with that dent in there much less all they put your head through at the salon. Just thinking of them combing out sections before they snip with the scissors is making me shudder. When I worked in a retail store years ago I had to sort some things in our stock room. The ceiling was very low, only 5ft high (I'm 5'10") and had pipes running all over it. I was always so cautious when working in there but one day I stood up in the wrong spot and hit my head on a brace holding the pipes and went out like a light. I had a dent in my head for quite some time. That was back when I used hot rollers every day to get myself ready for my day. Ouch, the memories! Your mold problems are much worse than mine. The black mold can be especially dangerous. I just found some on one of the kids volleyballs that was left out under some bushes. I need to wash that with some bleach to remove it before they start playing with it again. I'm glad you wear a mask when it is bad. That stuff just isn't good for you.

Ok then, glad I could join...hehe. I like playing. I had a bad night last night. I had a stomachache all night. I went to bed a 12:50 and was back at at 3:00am and stayed up all night because my stomach hurt so much. I have managed to get in a nap here and there today, although they were short ones. My tummy still hurts, I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come for me this year. I am hardly ever sick, but this has been 2 tummy issues just this month! I am so mad at the PO I go to most often. I put a medium sized bubble mailer in the mail there yesterday, inside is a smaller one, the smallest Bubble Mailer you can get, a note and a return label. It doesn't weigh much at all, I put 2 .42 cent stamps on it and it was BACK IN MY MAILBOX TODAY! Insuffient postage, can you believe that? I am so mad! I have gotten heavier ones with seed in them with 2 stinking stamps on them, what is wrong with that PO? It makes me so mad I wish I didn't have to use the USPS! Ok, maybe I am just testy cuz my stomach hurts? Fran

Thank-you all for the warm welcome! I love my little piece of Maine. lindalana, those pink plants are old azaleas that don't get the light they would like to have, so are very sprawling. I trimmed the left one up when I did some cleaning in the bed Wednesday PM in preparation for planting day yesterday. The one on the right is gone, but I do have an old Bleeding Heart that peeks through. This is that bed this AM in the rain - The 'multi-unit' birdhouse is temporarily on top of the granite birdbath. The white stones that are sitting on the stone wall for now are pieces of white and rose quartz from a mine in Albany, Maine, where we had a camp when I was growing up. They'd been buried back in the bed, and I'll decide what to do with them. I re-edged the sod in front that bed to give me a border to plant some of the hosta, so I could get them in the ground for now. I planted the JMs approx. 10 years ago, and they have FLOURISHED! I have more at various spots in the yard and they all do well here. This pic was taken this AM of a front border, and you see the JMs there left of center. There is a hidden pathway to the left of the JMs, and granite steps that go down to my 'puppy pen' in a lower part of the yard. I have always had Brittanys, and the current three are rescues, and any future ones will be. They have doggie doors to get into their 60 x 80 part of the yard, which is hidden behind 6 ft cedar fence. To show how well the JMs do, this was 7/16/16, when I was planting hosta in the shed garden. The JM on the right has grown so much that you cannot see any of those hosta, unless you crawl in under the JM now.I had a week's vacation at that time, and it was SO hot that this was my setup -
