Mixed Bouquet

It's in my nature to put a mixed arrangement together when the roses begin blooming. I didn't even count how many roses are in this bouquet. I'll try to remember which varieties. I liked mixing the older varieties with the newer ones. Dublin Bay, which I've never considered that great for bouquets, but this year they're perfect, Reine des Violettes,, ZD, Mme Isaac Pereire, Sunsprite, Liebeszauber, Belinda's Dream, Love Song, Big Momma, Tiffany, Pink Peace, Julia Child, Aloha and Forgotten Dreams. I think that's all.

Wow that is gorgeous! What a great combination, they are different but go together so well like a pretty puzzle! I can't wait to be able to get some blooms and put together a bouquet, mine are just leafing out...got another month at least, blah.

Martha The mofga web site is giving error messages. I'd be interested in seeing your PDF you refer to. I sell a small and a large bouquet at my markets in Houston $8 (pint) & $13 (quart). I count fillers/foliage and flowers as part of the total stem no. in an arrangement. If I sell a bunch of Zinnias (8 stems), I'll add a few stems of gomphrena or some such thing and charge $6. The other vendor at my markets sells her flowers for $5 & $10 and they are pretty big I could'nt do the link but the USDA still supplies the prices of flowers at Boston. Lisa, Those are just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your info AND photos! I have 4 different spurias, and they are all finally starting to bloom this year. I planted them a few years ago. I used a few of them this past week in bouquets, though I have to admit, after just a day, the falls started to roll up like a scroll, which I didn't like. So I think if I use them in the future I will only put them in at the very last minute before I deliver them or they are picked up! :0) Phyl

Thank you Andrea and Judy. You both have gorgeous roses. Judy, your bouquets are so lovely. I look forward to seeing them, they're special. Andrea you take the most gorgeous pictures of your roses. I know you are getting very anxious for blooms.

Beautiful Sara! I'm surprised you don't have greater issues with neighbors pillaging your rose blooms, lol.

BTW - What is the name of the lavender colored large rose at the top of the picture?

Thank you so much everyone. Adrian, a cop lives across the street, maybe that cop car is intimidating. Seriously, I've been fortunate, guess I have good neighbors. The lavender rose is Love Song. It is a very good rose for garden display and the vase both, I love it.
