Incredible day here too. I am making chicken fajitas tonight. Been making a new garden totem for my neighbor that helps me all the time. It's going to be a really pretty one.

Beautiful day here, today as well. Tonight is clean out the fridge night. Whatever leftovers are in there will be reinvented into something we call shumaligans. That is a name my kids came up with when they were little. Have no idea where they came with it, but they loved shumaligans night,

Forgot my lunch and dinner this morning on my way to work. Had to order out with the gang at work and then stopped at the sushi place Alex (my son) works at and ate dinner on my way home. Had a rainbow roll and jasmine tea.

Busy day here. Schultz to the vet...grocery shopping...deadheading plants..laundry...whew!

Kept it light..made a pot of Corn Chowder. Pecan Pie for later.

We love "shumaligans" Prairie. It's a good thing because I always cook too much, specifically to have food leftover.

Gadgets, our favourite fast food burger is A&W, but once in a while I like a big Mac. They're messy with the lettuce ending up all over me. I'm sure you're much neater!

I made sweet and sour chicken and shrimp fried rice. I am stuffed!

We grilled burgers and had them with crumbled blue cheese, carmalized onions and mushrooms. Fixed a little platter of fresh fruit on the side....pineapple, mango, cantaloupe, strawberries.

Meatloaf WITH ketchup on it, and in it. Cajun meatloaf. With mashed potatoes and carrots. Carrot cake was for dessert.
