I realized this is a very old thread but hopefully someone will read this. The below picture is my kitchen. I purchased this home and the people who sold it to us have no idea what color or finish it is, although we do know it is caesarstone. Can someone tell me if this is polished Lagos Blue? At first, I thought it is honed because it has such a soft look but have read somewhere that the polished version has less sheen than granite. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So, I have no idea about backsplashes. We are splurging on the Azul OR the Bordeaux because they are both in the premium range where we are and we were originally trying for the low to mid range, but of course every single thing we love was premium. I was honestly just thinking of like a cream/white subway tile with sort of a brick look if that makes sense, but my husband is going to have to install it (which he can definitely do) because we blew our budget on the granite. Uggh. I love the idea of the granite being the focal point, but my biggest concern is that I tend to tire of things and this is a huge investment. I just can't see myself tiring of the Azul.

My daughter has the "shiny" lagos blue and it is more of a taupe color. I don't see any blue. It is beautiful but she found it does chip if you drop something on it and the chip shows white. She fixed by dabbing olive oil on it and so far it is holding up. You also might want to look at your slab before they template it. There is something called resin pooling that might bother you if placed in a very conspicuous spot.

That looks really nice. I like the gray floors and walls, and matches really nice with the Lago. In a way it looks similar to what we're doing, gray floors, gray shower floor and white step. Our shower walls are white though. Since the Covid started they just placed the tile and had to stop work. They are allowed to finish starting this week since we already had 2 inspections approved, I don't have pictures yet of my lago top and bench but hopefully by end of next week. I'll post them here as well, since I had a hard time finding examples of people actually installing this. Maybe it will benefit someone else too. Anyway, I'm glad it worked out for you, it's always nerve wrecking, you never know until it's placed. Thanks for the reply, appreciate it.
