I know these are from 12 and 13yrs ago, however here goes. 3 layers - issue- light transmission and keeping the heat in. IT WORKS - i installed 3 layers (top layer is what i call my sacrafice layer do to our severe weather in Lake Tahoe/ Carson City NV. i kept the thickness of either 6 or 8mil each i can get specifics if you like. i also installed black steel barrels filled with water on the North end as thermal mass and escavated aproximately 8 feet down below frost line. i also have two 250gallon totes filled with water. the sun heats up the barrels and during the day and at night the barrels release heat slowly through the night, along with the 8 feet down im using the natural heat from the earth. i ran spiral HVAC Duct to the green house from the main house. natural gas is way cheaper. the green house gets too hot late morning so fans come on to compensate. first year second design of greenhouse. oh i also have a saw tooth roof with motorized reflectors to maximise sun rays and have led grow light to compensate. im still learning but i sure wish i could find a cutting edge greenhouse book since summer is around the corner and im hoping i dont get a 200degree hot house. im thinking the 8 feet down will cool it a bit but we shale find out quickly. any insight would be greatly appreciated. Many computers use variable speed fans that adjust based on thermal load. If you think the fan in your power supply is failing, then you can either replace the power supply or open it and replace the fan (which will probably take a bit more skill). If you have a "store bought" computer many of the major manufacturers use propitiatory power supplies and connectors, so you'll need to find an exact match. That might be a challenge for a computer manufactured in '08. If you're lucky enough to have a standard ATX power supply, then any computer store on online vendor will have plenty to choose from at a variety of price points.
