I have noticed an intermittent problem of the sentences being chopped off on the right, also. It doesn't seem to happen all the time, but you are right, Marlorena...zooming out doesn't help. Bob

true_blue... good idea, so I checked it out. I just opened the Antique Rose Forum in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera Coast. They all look different, but none has the issue with the chopped-off right side, so I'm still not sure it's a browser issue. Maybe it only happens on certain pages? Bob

Hi Malorena - Are you able to get to Houzz page, but not the GW forums when you have the site down problem?

As far as the issue with posts being cut off, that should now be resolved. If anyone is still seeing it, please let us know at gardenweb (at) houzz.com.

..thanks everyone for your help... I'll make this brief as it's taken me 10 minutes just to get on here and post this small message... I might try a different browser, maybe google chrome and see if it's any better. Houzz UK have been in touch but they don't seem to know what it is wrong... it's not the UK site that I ever go on but the US one...

I cannot get through to Houzz at all most of the day, except it seems early morning here, although strangely, I seem to have hit a purple patch so to speak and am able to send this post.... it can take many minutes for Garden Web to load, and usually it doesn't load at all and my browser, either Mozilla or IE9 or IE11, just gives up.. I've been trying to get on here for the last one hour. I couldn't log off, or submit any posts...
...is there an email address for Houzz U.S. site that I can use to send you an email next time I have this problem?...

..at the moment it's working alright and appears to have speeded up somewhat, I'm hoping the problem will resolve itself one way or another...

I should add, since I managed to log out and log back in again, things have improved...

It seems my security considers houzz a malicious site and is blocking access

I get a warning message

I also get a warning from my mobile telling me your security certificate expired on 9th april therefore site cannot be trusted

I suspect this is the reason i cannot get on fhe site from my pc as norton blocks it

I have had trouble with the cut off threads when using my phone but not when on my laptop.

Tamara, the problem with the cut off threads hasn't been resolved for me.

..I've managed to get on here this morning, which is the only time of day I can access Houzz... I'm thinking now the problem is with my ISP (EE, that used to be Orange) as I think they sometimes blacklist some websites during busy periods if they produce a lot of spam email, as it does appear to be time dependent.

Marlorena have you tried emptying your browsers cache?

true_blue, thanks for the suggestion...yes my browsers cache are frequently emptied both on IE and Mozilla. I've also downloaded Chrome but that didn't make any difference either. I'm amazed I've got back on here again right now, so perhaps things are looking up. I used to have a bit of trouble on the old site from time to time, and then it would rectify itself....

...I must try and post some photos, there are some roses I'd like an opinion on...

..yes thanks again true_blue.... good idea, I shall disable it for a short time if this happens again, but I have to say all seems well now, so fingers crossed it stays that way... whatever it was must have got rectified somewhere along the line....
