I didn't see anything wrong at all with the first two pictures, but the last two don't look right. Do you have monster prickly canes???
New growth that is mahogany isn't a problem in and of itself.

cold weather while buds are forming could cause what I see in the last picture. I don't see anything else that screams RRD.

The shape of the leaves is what scares me. my husband got rid of almost all of them so I guess I will just keep an eye on the rest of the bushes and see what happens

Hopefully, you do not have rose midge problems. Stunted or distorted buds as well as tips are possible signs of midge infestation.

Newest leaves on last photo are asymmetrical along with the deformed buds. Leaves have also lost their fringed edges. Looks like RRD to me hope I'm wrong. I'd be happy to be wrong.

Maybe Ann will answer soon she would be the best. Since this is not a clear cut case it's really, really hard to advise. If I were standing by your rose it would be much more clear what to do. Are the last two photos the same rose? What state are you from?

Any herbicide sprays near the plants? It would be a possibility, but the last two photos are very suspicious.

I just looked up rose rosette in Florida and see the first confirmed cases were in 2013. That is just sickening. So you mentioned on the other thread that you lost roses to RRD last year. Did they look worse than these when you found it? This is a lot of roses to all get sick at the same time. Doesn't make since as mites are usually more random then spread to more roses if it's not noticed. Have you walked around where you live to see if there is a close by source of infected roses?

Two years ago it was suggested by a friend who grows roses that I lost my
Traditional roses to chili thrips. I was told that Knockouts weren't affected by them and that is why I switched to the KO. I just got my MG certificate from Putnam county. I have asked some of my MG friends but none are rose experts. The county ext agent is a citrus expert. But I will ck with her also.

Patty, see my previous comment.. I think two years ago they just began to die. I don't remember the leaf deformation. How would I look for a source of infected roses. Just look for roses in other yards with the same thing? Thanks

KOs are resistant to fungal diseases. They aren't immune to any insect that I know of. So they will be affected by chili thrips if you have them.

You don't want to spray Roundup or any similar herbicides near your roses. The spray can drift far (20 - 30 feet), and the damage looks similar to your third photo. Not saying that it definitely IS herbicide damage, but I wouldn't do any more herbicide sprays around the roses.

On the chili thrip front, in addition to the state ag folks, send a copy of the photos to Dr. Malcolm Manners at Florida Southern College (Google him). He stops by the forums from time to time (usually over in the Antique Roses forum), but a direct email would be best.

I have found my few Knockouts to be particularly susceptible to Chilli thrips. I hope and pray it's not RRD this far down the state. Chilli thrips are enough to deal with on their own without adding RRD to the mix. Roses are incredibly sensitive to weed killer, even just the drift from it can kill one (ask me how I know this). I hope Dr. Manners sees this.
