Repotted money tree is shriveling up

missfrijole

I recently transplanted my money tree into a bigger pot. It has four or five trunks, they were braided at the bottom, but I kind of undid the braiding. One of my younger trunks that has new-ish leaves on it. The leaves are still soft and supple. Ever since I repotted, the leaves are shriveling up. The other trunks are fine, so far. I am not sure what is happening or if I can save the leaves or the trunk that they are on. There is a new nib between the leaves that is growing. I don't want the entire trunk to die. Did I sever roots? Can the roots regenerate? Will the nib keep growing into new leaves even if the current ones die?
