Kim, Like George, I am glad to hear that everything is going so well for you. Your friends are going to be so thrilled with the home-grown plants you share with them. Now, don't be a stranger and post more often please! I'd been wondering where you were and if you were doing alright. I'm not crazy about this latest round of windy, cold weather, but if it means that maybe we won't be seeing 90 degrees in April this year, then I'm all for it. My tomato plants have been thoroughly hardened off already, but now that I've moved them back inside the greenhouse for a few days, they'll need to be hardened off somewhat all over again. The greenhouse has 50% shade cloth, so once they spend a few consecutive days in there, they lose some of the hardening-off that already had been accomplished. This year the hardening-off process has been a bit of a roller coaster ride with one step forward, two steps back here lately. Dawn

Good for you. Much of what my father said stuck. I particularly liked cows having several stomach chambers so fewer weed seeds survived.
