hi all, i put together a pic of all of my working elements. PLease let me know what you would change. i am just not sure if it looks right. i want to find a balance so that my powder room can feel contemporary and not too ethnic or traditional mediterranean.. thank you for any advice! i just picked a random mirror to put in the pic. not sure it works.. what lights would you think go with this? something like this? or would this be too much? or should i make only the lights mediterranean and do a simpler tile like white subway? or go with simpler lights and stick with the arabesque tile? simpler styled lights like this?

I love the godmorgan sink for their clever plumbing moving the ptrap to the back so that you can have drawers. I got one but my plumber threw up all over it for the cheap quality of the plastic in the plumbing. He did agree about the design and is building ours with the ptrap in the back so that we can do drawers using better quality stock parts. Mirrors.. I would suggest picking this first as this will drive much tile you need. Have you looked at IKEA mirrors. They are a good price point. Also home goods etc.. Faucet.. Online prices are much better.. Do you like the look of the faucet in the picture? I went with a simple version from a good quality brand for my regular bathrooms with a single lever. For powder room, I also wanted it to be fun and did wall mounted in antique copper.

@Beth you have given me so many ideas to move forward with, thank you!! :D I think urbane bronze is great, i would looooove a pendant light but I'm not too sure how hard it would be to change from the recessed lighitng that's in there currently. I think it's sort of worth doing the work. As for the celoing, maybe that's where I put my real statement! lots to think about ...:)

Depends on the look you are after and if you search modern power rooms on Pinterest you‘ll see lots of ideas. It’s important to consider the entire space before making individual decisions, especially the lighting and mirror. I’m not really able to get a sense of the sink area. Is sink centered? Is it just the photo, or is the counter high (and made to feel even higher with the vessel sink and tall faucet); if so, the mirror choice is really important in creating the right proportions. You may have to test a few styles/sizes and also test height In regards to accommodating the faucet. I’d forego painting wall behind toillet and add large, impactful abstract art. Suggest a smaller modern towel rack and some seagrass basket(s) under sink to take the focus away from the plummimg.
