Which BM blue-grey with carrera?

For a small bathroom, which Benjamin Moore blue-grey paint goes best with carrera marble?

Can you post some pictures of the tile?

Are you installing the Carrera in the shower? I would not. Have you soak tested a large sampling of this stone?

Your bathroom lighting is going to play a huge roll in how the tile and paint show. What tyope of light you pick is key or rather what type of bulb you use.

People typically have a preference of cool white. Warm white. Little light or loads of light. Prior to tiling all these light sources should be installed and one. Then once this is done you can do some paint samples.

I've found Maria Killam's blog really helpful for picking colors. She recommends Benjamin Moore Fieldstone & Pure White as colors that go well with Carrara Marble. (http://www.mariakillam.com/).

As you know, there are lots of grays, but your great beds are now driving the color bus. These colors are considered gray, but the undertone is blue/green. How do you like this for the bathroom? I like the idea of a dark bathroom (lights have to b turned on, so why not have a deep color on the walls); think it will be gorgeous with super white.

We did a lot of neutral with it. He has bamboo floors, and most of his furniture is dark brown leather or wood. We added pops of red all over (pillows, blankets, rugs, some draperies) and it feels very masculine and has a slight nautical style to it. I think your ideas are spot on with how I would use the color in my own bedroom. I'm picturing what you're describing as something very light and clean, with a kind of soft feeling to it. I'm totally into the vintage looking rugs right now. I think he just tinted primer for better coverage since it was going over gold. Maybe he was going to try and only have to do 1 coat plus tinted primer, but he is going to do 2 coats. Benjamin Moore said that tinted primer may show more blue then the regular paint so I am hoping that gets rid of some of the undertone ice blue that I am seeing. I did put the original sample board next to the paint and it does match up. Good news is that when I put my white cabinet door next to the paint on walls, it gets rid of that blue tone. I am thinking that maybe my old dove white trim is working against the paint and it will be fine when the brighter white trim goes up. Here are the photos: Also do you think Calcutta Gold Quartz will work? It seemed like it also worked when I put it near paint.

Silver Chain is a very neutral gray (Chroma of 1.78 (0 is perfectly neutral)) , which means that it will work any blue or green. The core question has to be what is going to work best with the things you own and colors your love and is going to give you a look and feel that brings you joy. Here are 6 very different greens and blues with Silver Chain. All would work with Silver Chain, but how will they work when add art? Some colors now work or don't work with the art. You may love one color combination in isolation, but will you love it with your art and décor? How will it work with the rest of your home?

I have BM Horizon in my west bathroom with a carrara counter and I like it. But I love blue and brown together (vanity is walnut). The walls are in the BM Aura Bath and Spa. The color, like I mentioned is Horizon. The far wall is probably a better indication of the color on my screen. The wall with the vanity looks white, but it is all Horizon. The ceiling is Horizon too. Sorry for the sideways picture, they all load that way from my photos on my computer. It doesn't matter if it is landscape or portrait formating. Photobucket didn't do that.

Check out Benj. Moore Whipple blue (which is also the same formula as Bej, Moore Niagra Falls). I'm planning to use it on some original built in cabinets in the kitchen along with a Carrara marble countertop.

Oh, I should add that I have Bunny Gray in my east bathroom. I don't have a carrara counter in there but I do have marble listello on the wall that I was matching. This reads a very light blue and does not read gray.
