I'm having "The Best Darn Ham Sandwiches You'll Ever Have", and that is their name! They are made with Hawaiian rolls, ham and Swiss cheese. Just crave them now and then.

Pasta Carbonara. We're enjoying sunny Florida. I don't like going out every night so tonight we're eating in. I try to come up with some simple dinners so I don't have to spend much time in the kitchen.

Phyllis, Patti 43 use to call them "Funeral sandwiches". It's a great recipe to drop off at someones house when they're having people back from the funeral. I think I like your name better!

I made Taco soup last night so probably the leftovers. I would personally prefer to have some Oriental food delivery, don't have it very often, but I have a yearning.

Gorgeous, sunny day, and I hung the clothes on the line for the first time of the season! They smell so nice now that they're inside.

Asparagus needed to be used up as did the ham I roasted, so I made a stir-fry.

More than likely salad and leftover pizza.

Leftover meatloaf and rice with homemade salsa verde.

Giant Shells stuffed with a Salmon & Cream Cheese mixture..topped with an Alfredo Sauce. Peas on the side. Super easy to make and really delicious.

12 Jumbo Pasta Shells

1 can Red Sockeye Salmon

1 8oz. Pkg Cream Cheese Softened

1 tbsp Lemon Juice

2 tsp Grated Onion

1 tsp Prepared Horseradish

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp Liquid Smoke

Preheat oven to 350*

Drain & flake salmon, removing skin & bones. Combone salmon with remaing ingredients. Set aside.

Drop the 12 shells into boiling salted water. Let boil 9 min. Remove..drain.

Fill each shell equally, place in an 8x8 glass baking dish.

Spoon your favorite Alfredo sauce recipe on top. Approx 2 cups.

Bake for about 35 min or till heated through.

we had mile hi corned beef sammies from our fave deli...we eat half and safe the half for tomorrow's lunch. dh supplemented his with onion rings...I had thought of going over on st patties day but you have to stand in line...

gadgets was just reading your comments...if you ever do try asparagus, look for the very thin stalks, and oven roast...they have it in the produce store (not local, too cold yet) but it was wonderful!

Gadget heres the link to my Salmon Party Log its an appetizer recipe. I follow this recipe, although I don't roll it into a log nor do I roll it in the nuts etc.

I boil 12 Jumbo Shells for 9 minutes. I then stuff them with the salmon mixture. I top it off with about 2 cups of alfredo sauce. You can make it easily or use bertolli. Bake for about 35 min or till heated through

I was cooking and didn't get to this thread until after it was basically closed out. :p The grill is deep under snow so, to celebrate "spring" last night, I baked some chicken pieces and put bbq sauce on them. Also made a potato salad, cabbage salad, and opened a can of baked beans. I loved it! :O)
