If I were you and lived anywhere near the Sacramento area, I would use Earth Dynamics Poolscapes. I found them through a Google search early on in my remodel project when I discovered that the expertise of my contractor was lacking when unforeseen challenges came up but even lacking with the expected scope of work. I hired Mike in a consulting capacity after first looking at a wealth of info on their website and then speaking with him. On his website, he even provides questions to ask your potential contractors. I was already under contract with another contractor and even though Mike was several hundred miles away, (I emailed pictures and measurements), he was able to educate me and provide plans as needed so the performance level of my contractor was improved dramatically. If I would have known then what I know now, I would have had Mike help me with the project definition, bidding process and contractor selection and I would have wound up with a different contractor. I would have spent a little more but I would not have wasted countless hours that pulled me out of my office. In reading what I just wrote, I realize that I rambled on and some might think that this is a spam ad post. But if you search on my user name, you will see that for the past 3 years I was using this website to educate myself on pool stuff and asking a bunch of questions because I thought I could figure out what I needed to know to make sure that my project was a success. And if lived near Sacramento, i would have hired his company for the whole project. Hindsight is 20/20.

Nobody except industry insiders know what a DIRTBAG he really is because he's got a very soft touch and comes across very well. He, and the others like him, know that our state Judicial system will protect him because it's a civil suit and not a criminal suit. IMO, there's no difference in holding a gun to a mans back or doing what they do. Quite honestly, IT SUCKS BAD, for the pool buyers and equally for the good men I know that have conducted business under the same name for many many years. We despise these mother phuckers. Question, Do you want to know how quickly I could have stolen 500000 dollars from pool buyers? Answer, With just the past 6 weeks gunite checks. I could run away with the coin, party down in Costa Rica , then some in Hawaii for a spell, and then come back and do it again. Sorry to get off topic, but this type of remark gets WAY under my skin. Those are new colors or at least under new names in just the last few weeks, so you may have a tough time finding finished pools with those names. You may need to look for something similar. We had our pool done 4 weeks ago in Luna Quartz Pacific-- a light aqua blue that is probably most similar to the Aruba. It creates a light to medium blue water color. The Barbados would be darker. The darker plaster colors also heat the water more than white, which almost makes Martinique appealing for our small pool too. We agonized over the plaster color and realized once it was in that we would have been happy with any of several colors. Don't stress too much -- keep it fun.

They actually make a tool for polishing swimming pools. The tool is water driven by a power washer, and can be done underwater no problem. Most plaster companies have one for repair work. I would check with your applicator.
