New to me... I altered someones tent. He wished the outer layer would go further down, and I had an older tent fly, and added 7 inches all around.

With the Houzz change-over, I just discovered the Kitchen Table forum and the 'I'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours' posts and photos. Just wondering--are there 'rules' or some method of deciding what photos you show on these posts? I enjoy taking close photos of flowers and insects but I'm an amateur.

No definitive rules. I usually try to show a photo that "might" be similar to what Casey posts. Sometimes it just doesn't work. I too have lots of photos of my back yard flowers. There are contributors to this forum who have cats and enjoy posting those photos.

If you have something you want to share, then feel free to do so.

I am assuming that is a syrphid fly. I have never seen one with those colors! Good job!

One's trash ... is someone else's treasure.

Squirrels don't bother me much, but they can be a nuisance.

But coons - they can be real pains in the patoot, at times ... e.g. when they pull down over a hundred ears of sweet corn ... and take about one bite out of each. That I'd figured to take to a couple of churches, social agencies, etc.

Almost did, putting on a sign, "Using a sharp knife, cut out the chewed part and a bit extra: the rest, wrapped by the husk, is O.K. - even if you're playing second fiddle to a coon!".

Jim, I think it is a metallic green bee, and from a search on the web, maybe Agapostemon virescens.

I enjoy seeing everyone's photos. So many different subjects, locations, and view points. I love the raindrops on the tulip.

Cute baby racoons and squirrels. We see them every year at our Pennsylvania house. They are often entertaining to watch. But the raccoons have insisted on using our back deck as their personal latrine, which doesn't endear them to me.
