Winter Sowing Morning Glories?

Was wondering if anyone here has had any success winter sowing morning glories. I'm debating on whether I should WS them or start the seeds indoors in a 2L soda bottle. I also have Moon Flower, Lobelia and Coleus seeds. I have a bay window that faces east and am assuming that it receives plenty of light in order for the seeds to germinate and thrive (fingers crossed). I've, also, read on a few posts here that MGs self seed fairly easily. This is what makes me come to the conclusion that they could be WS. I'm located in zone 7a.

We've had a lot of snow throughout the month of February and I'm dying to get started with some seeds!

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
