Are cordless roller shades practical with a large picture window?

Hi all! I plan to replace my windows and doors this spring and want to know in advance what window covering will be used to reduce fading. My last house had spring loaded fiberglass roller shades in 33"w x 72" long fixed glass windows. They worked well for many years. I loved them as they had no dangling cords or chains and practically disappeared when rolled up at the top. My question is how well would solar shades work in a fixed picture window 70" wide x 71" high? I know this would probably be a two handed operation to raise and lower. This wouldn't bother me if everything works nicely.

The windows face east so there is morning sun in the winter is the main problem. Code in our area requires LowE 366 glass which is fairly dark by itself. Heat gain and night privacy are not issues I'm concerned with for these particular windows. I'm hoping someone on GW has had experience with these approximate large dimensions, or knows of someone who has.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to help.
