Thanks for the information regarding the Coleman heater John. I was thinking that they should have some kind of adapter or something to be able to change it to a bigger propane bottle. Those little 16 oz ones just keep you going half way through the night. LOL and who wants to get up and go change one out when it's below freezing outside? Not this little OLD LADY! It got down to 25 here last night HDD and I didn't see any snow flurries thank goodness. When these old country roads get snow and ice on them they are very hard to travel on. Lot's of farmers end up in the ditches and have to get their tractors to pull themselves out with. I'm glad we didn't get any snow. (big smile) Happy Gardening Marian

THANK YOU twixanddud, Nat, Nancy and Debra! Twixanddud, you will like Creepy Crawler. The blooms are big and bright and I just love that edge it has. Nat, it is strange how Lavender HT does so well for me here when I have heard from you and others that it isn't that great for them. I got mine from BlueRidge and it hit the ground running. Stellar performance year after year. And yes, mine is tall. Nancy, I love Winning Note too and I am surprised at how many blooms it pumps out each year. Got it from Maryott's. Debra, I figured you would love the bright pink of Desperate Housewives....and of course, Zeus! Celeste

Such lovely gardens, Celeste! I love the beautiful variety of plants, colors and forms. A few years ago my best friend from childhood was living in an unimproved barn in NH with her eight collies and I finally convinced her to come down here to western NC where she/they could live in a house. Her descriptions and photos of the winters up there are a bit hair-raising, although I remember plenty of snow and cold from when I lived near Boston as a kid. Anyway, my friend was in the lake district area, near the border with Maine, and at one time worked in Milton. She also lived in Farmington. I told her you were on the daylily forum, and she asked where you are located, so thought I'd inquire. Also, what's your elevation? That seems to make a lot of difference in the temps, doesn't it? I'm so glad to see Jazz in one of these Fall posts of yours...I was wondering why he wasn't helping out this year! ;-) All your bunnies, rabbits & whippets are just so amazing in your decor...I love how you tie 'animals' into each holiday season. That corner shelf w/the diff bunnies in motion is wonderful! & having your whippet 'watching' them! Love the corner table where you used a quilt square for the linens ~~ relaxing bunnies look happy there, too! Everything is beautiful, PM...enjoy the season now for awhile ... & then you'll just need to add some 'turkeys' for Thanksgiving decor! ~~hugs, Jeanne ...& as far as being creative, why change out what you created so beautiful before!!! You rock, girl!
