Glad that those medical people didn't keep you down.

Most folks don't think of George Gershwin when they think of jazz. Likewise, many don't associate Duke Ellington with concert-type music.

Great quotes, Don. I've missed getting to the GP since Houzz took over. I've been jumping through hoops trying to remember my password and the email I used when I joined the GP! Great topic. I love jazz. In my younger years , back east, I went to jazz clubs, after hours clubs and jam sessions in the bowels of downtown DC buildings.

Little by little, jazz faded away and rock and roll became the favorite.mawheel Welcome back, glad to see you again.

Thanks for the jazz quotes. We have a rather large jazz collection (records) and I still play some of them each week. The Gershwin quote could be my official motto.
