Hoodia Think You Are, Some Funny-Lookin' Lithops?
Comments (9)chatanooga - that one is most likely Lithops karasmontana 'Lateritia', but it, like others, is highly variable. The face is not always solid colored. I can take a crack at naming the others if anyone needs assistance. Not only are the plants nicely grown, but the owner spent lots of time cleaning off the spent flowers. Check out the 5th from the top, featuring a clump of L. julii fulleri; the L. lesliei venteri on the top left has a stone in the middle with almost the same color and markings as the plant. Comments (1)Oh, yes, out of the mouths of babes. Funny, thanks. Two true kid/church stories: I was carrying the communion trays up from the church basement, and two little boys were opening doors for me. When we got to the front of the church, there was one more door to open and they began to fight about who was going to open it. The bigger boy gave Warren a good push and he fell into the baptismal. On the way home after church, my son Brian, who saw the whole debacle, asked me, "Mama is Warren a Christian now?" The other story....My other son, Scott, went to the men's room and little Robbie was peeing in the floor drain, in the middle of the room. Scott asked him if he always peed in there. Robbie, age 4 said, "No. Sometimes I pee my pants."...See MoreWashington Post's Mensa Contest......hilarious winners
