Thank for all your nice replies. Even with those crappy pictures I took. They really do look much better. We've had some warm days and cool nights, around 50 degrees. About two weeks ago I finally experienced what the lack of water can do to a potted brug. OMG! I walked outside and the leaves were as wilted as can be. I panicked like crazy. I came in to get water as fast as I could. I have never seen a plant react so fast to getting water. I went in to get more water, and by the time I came back out I could already notice a difference. It was amazing. I am so hoping that I get to see the other bloom. I already seen one bloom earlier when I bought these, and they looked bad in my opinion. However, it still produced one single fully opened beautiful white bloom. Now it has about 15-20 buds/pods on it, and the one I haven't seen bloom has just as many. I hope we'll get enough warm weather so I can at least see what it looks like. I think when I purchased it the tag said pink, but what color pink I don't know. The white was beautiful. I walked over to it each day and just admired it. I was in heaven. I only wish I had gotten around to getting these in the ground. They looked bad to me when I first got them and even with all the advice I got here I just didn't think I could do anything to make them look any better. In my zone with enough time to get a good root system they could have survived the winter. However, it's to late for that now. I just have to hope that I can continue to care for them in their dormant state and keep them going. I am so proud of them. Thanks to everyone here who offered advice. Some of it I took, and most of it I forgot. *LOL* I have taken in so much information about brugs since August I feel my brain is overloaded and cannot remember half of it. Either way, Thanks to all and especially Karyn. I hope you'll all guide me through the winter as well with these potted brugs.

Niiiiice!! Wanna come build some raised beds in my backyard? Grin. I don't have the shoulders or elbows left to do that heavy work any more. You and your wife have done a fabulous job! From your earlier post, I wanted to follow-up and advise that you need to mulch sooner rather than later. The soil is starting to warm up (cool spell next few days notwithstanding) and to keep your soil moist and weed free, mulch is your friend. It'll also break down and keep improving your soil. Remember too that your mushroom compost, while greatly improving your soil over time, isn't much of a fertilizer, so your plants will need food. At this stage in their growth, I use seaweed liquid feed to give the roots a great start. You'll want to consider some kind of food for your little plants. They'll drink it up! And you're right- your 'mater are really too close together. Since you've just planted them, you still have time to move them. Ideally you want 36" between your plants. I push the window a bit and place mine on 28-30" centers, just because I want too many. But you'll have a much better harvest and less disease if you'll move every other one to a place where those babies can GROW. Healthy indeterminate 'maters will vine 8-12 feet in a season, so they'll grow up and over your cages and they need a lot of room to get the nutrients they need and to avoid disease. If I have a chance tomorrow after work to take a photo of mine, I will and post it for you. You're doing great! You're going to have a wonderful garden this year!

It will become harder to navigate without GPS The days of people using maps to get to the right place are almost gone. All smartphones are equipped with GPS, which helps us to reach our destination without much difficulty and wandering. Life has actually become much easier thanks to GPS, because this navigator shows us the right direction right down to the smallest turn. Therefore, in the absence of access to the global system, many people will not be able to correctly and quickly navigate in an unfamiliar area. Navigators have become such an integral part of our lives that most travel enthusiasts and those who often go on business trips can hardly imagine their lives without a smartphone with its indispensable GPS.

Yes, I imagine they're much easier to grow in pots here, because of the cooler weather. For sure! Unfortunately, my roses just had hail dumped on them. Leaves are all torn, flowers ruined and buds ripped off. If it's not one thing, it's another. Unfortunately I live in a hail zone. We get hail 3 or 4 times a summer here. Sheesh. :) Carol
