A lot of us gals are attracted to those 'bad boys'. And a lot of those 'bad boys' can be pretty charming and even nice at times. This fellow has obviously captured her heart for most likely a bunch of reasons....some good and some bad. He may be 'misunderstood', she may have 'low self-esteem'. She may need whatever financial assitance she can get from him.....if she gets any....and doesn't want to alienate him. She may be afraid of him. He may be great in bed :) Whatever the reasons, as everyone else has said already, she'll have to work through this one herself and all you can do is be a caring listener and help pick up the pieces as they fall. I have been going through this with our eldest daughter, now 36, for about 6 years........now in the throes of divorce. It hurts so to watch them make mistake after mistake, showing such poor judgement. But experience is the best teacher as painful as it can be. And, some times I really believe that it all had to happen, was God's plan all along, that she should pair up with her soon-to-be X because they produced the most wonderful little human being, now 4..........a delightful, adorable, little guy that we will all treasue forever. How cute! We used to get ice cream for our Smokie, a basset shepard mix. He just loved it! Patti, does your DQ serve plain chocolate ice cream? Donna, please ask him why Ohio seems to be the only place you can get chocolate ice cream at a DQ. I can't count the number of times we would decide to have DQ for dessert after dinner on the road, only to find out our only choice was vanilla for a cone. We could get it dipped in chocolate, or have a sundae, but not just plain chocolate ice cream. Tami

Thank you all, especially circuspeanut with the photoshop pic - absolutely right, that's the way it's supposed to look! Now I feel really silly. Until you posted that picture, I was doing an about-face with Coco Chanel's advice ;-) The CG already brought them home yesterday to cut them down and we're going to velcro them, and then I'll post another picture. Stay tuned next week...I could just see it now - the legs will be popping on and off as I make up my mind!

That little angel couldn't have done anything that bad. That's the same thing I said about our little Great Dane angel when I got home from work one day and saw this...and dh was at home when this happened. I told him he can't just look at a computer and/or tv screen all day and think nothing is going to happen around the house. Sorry about the fan boxes, but we are expecting an electrician one day this week to install them. ( I'm even sorrier about the love seat ) I'm not going furniture shopping until I'm sure he is through eating it. Linda
