Best speed oven and single wall oven combo?

So I've been trying to sort through the old posts and current options. It seems like there are a few favorites and after reading it definitely seems as if 240v is the way to go. Who are the current manufacturers and what seems to get the best reviews? I've been confused by the options from Electrolux so maybe I'm not looking in the right place. And then I've looked at the Bosch benchmark and the GE advantium. Others to consider?

Electrolux doesn't have one. They have a convection microwave combo but not a speed oven. They used to make a separate 240V speed oven but I think that's discontinued now. Your options are GE Advantium, Bosch Benchmark, and JennAir. Right away I would eliminate GE Advantium because the Advantium part of it is only 120V. That leaves Bosch and JennAir.

We have no reviews of either here, and both are pretty new on the market, so you would need to decide on price, looks, and features.

A better option would be to get a separate speed oven and single oven. That way you can mix and match manufacturers.

Well, unfortunately Electrolux has discontinued their speed oven.

I've had one for over 8 years now, also their Electrolux Icon wall oven.

Both have been trouble free for over 8 years now, and the Speed oven is

our most used appliance.

I suspect most people here will guide you to the Miele oven and speed oven, although that will be your most expensive option, (By far)!!!!

Bosch ovens seemed to get good reviews, but their speed oven is

pretty new to the scene, so not a lot of data about it yet, but should cost considerably less than the Miele.

You are correct thou, any Speed Oven Option, should be 240 volts.

First , let me be the FIRST to say, I do not claim to be a Kitchen Designer or Kitchen Architech, alto I did design our curved kitchen--soooo----keeping the "above" in mind, here are 2 things that would "bother me" about stacking a Miele Speed Oven over a wolf Oven. (1) The wolf seems to have a bluish to white display, whilst the Miele Speed Oven is definitely on the orange-reddish side. That would probably really bug me. (2) The Wolf Control panel-display is about the same width as the black & glass area of the door (IE appears as "full width"), whilst the Miele has that smaller window type display area. Again one being directly above the other probably would bug me a bit. As I said , there are far more talented ppl here (design-wise) so maybe they can chime in. To Me the Elux Speed Oven would be a far better match (Lookswise),It has the full width display/control area the display (when lit is blue) and only a white clock shows when the display disappears (if not used for a couple of mins). The Elux Speed oven does not broil and uses a turntable---not a problem for me, but of course , I can't answer for you. Well I don't know about the advantium, but if I had it to do over again I would not get the Miele speedoven. It is so difficult to clean when I have used it as an oven that it is now just a very expensive microwave. My setup was speedoven, wall oven and warming drawer in a stack. Due to my height or rather lack thereof :) I risk burning my arms when using the speedoven as an oven as well. Mind you I do like the features of the oven but am not using them much for the above reasons. I know that you have purchased a range and so the situation is different, but there are only 2 of us as well and I entertain a fair amount. If I had it to do over I would go with 2 ovens and a regular microwave.

My worry is that if one component breaks, we have to replace the whole thing Why would you have to replace the whole thing? I guess we live in such a throwaway society at this point nobody considers repairing things anymore. However, one component failing earlier is a risk to take into consideration. I went with a KitchenAid convection microwave/wall oven combo and it's worked fine for 8 years, so I can't say I regret the decision. Speed ovens seem finicky to me, and I'm not sure we really need it There are no true speed oven/wall oven combo units. That KitchenAid does not have a speed oven on top, it's just a convection microwave. The closest you'll get is the GE Profile Advantium/wall oven combo, and I'm not a fan of that because the Advantium part is only 120V, which takes longer and gives lesser quality results than the 240V Advantium. I think the best option for you is to get a speed oven or a steam oven with a separate single oven below. That way if one component fails you don't have to replace both. You will need to redo the electrical though.

Miele CSO to stack with 24" Miele speed oven or 30" single oven?

You can never have enough ovens. We have a 30" oven in addition to a 24" CSO and a 24" SpeedOven (incidentally, this is a wonderful combination). And still, there has been at least one meal, when I had to add a fourth improvised oven by using the gas grill on the deck. I also had to use a portable warming chest, and had to prepare a careful schedule for when to use which appliance. But then, I was cooking multiple courses for a gathering of more than 100 guests. Realistically though, 99% of the time, the combination of those two ovens should be enough. You might just have to do a little bit of planning on the rare occasions that you make huge amounts of food. But if budget is flexible, adding the SpeedOven wouldn't hurt. It's a good oven in its own right, and it can always serve as a great overflow option, when things get really tight. Is it mandatory? No, not at all? Will you enjoy having bought it? Yes, probably. It's a convenient luxury, if you regularly cook a lot.

Ok so if I was willing to split them up what options would you recommend? I really like the looks of the Bosch benchmark but the lack of reviews makes me nervous

My beef with the Bosch Benchmark is that they don't have enough built in programs. What is your budget?

Tell me my options and I'll tell you my budget! ;). I would prefer to stay under/around 4k. But if that's not reasonable then I'll rethink
