AAA, are you talking about Christmas decorations? I takes us forever to get the holiday decorations put away.

We were supposed to see friends tomorrow for lunch, but this cold is kicking us while we're down. Ugh! We also have tickets for a play for tomorrow evening. I'm hoping we'll feel up for that. Sunday is a sleep in day.

My weekend will probably be like most of my days, cooking and doing up dishes, serving food, taking care of chickens and more of the same. Some of the kids will probably come over and eat a meal or two with us.

Was drop dead gorgeous here yesterday, plus 14C, got a good start on some snow melting. Today we are supposed to get colder with freezing rain. Depending on the snow conditions I might try and get out on my snow shoes for maybe the last time for the season?

Doing some housework and hopefully some crafts. DH and I are cooking a Valentine's dinner together and will probably watch a movie. After a very busy week we are looking forward to a quiet weekend.

Robert wants to take me out "for an airing", lol. I've been so sick for several days. I think that we'll go for a country drive on this pretty day, maybe head up into the mountains of Tennessee.

My dh is a valentines baby so we made plans with some good friends to celebrate tonite. I'm making a full lunch because our son is making a trip home for his pops bday, a rare treat its self. DD picked out a couple of delights from "Nothing but Bundt Cakes" yesterday. I thought bundt cakes and strawberries would be dessert.

I'm hoping that we can make it to a Nebraska women's basketball game on Sunday as our season tickets have been neglected recently. If it didn't take 1 1/2 hours from here to our seats, we would be there more. Definitely a fun time for me. Over the years I've really started to enjoy sport events, I suppose for the excitement in the air.

I get a 3 day weekend: it's a stat holiday in Alberta. Family Day. My husband and I are going to go to a park that flooding during the Calgary floods 18 months ago. It just re-opened. The weather is fantastic today so I'll be bringing my camera and checking out all the work the city did to fix up all the damage that was done. Some parks in Calgary are still not ready to reopen, the floods were that bad. As for Sunday and Monday? I'll probably do some deep cleaning around the house. Or shop......... Shopping might win....

We're having below normal temperatures today, so cocooning under a warm blanket is the first choice that comes to mind! But I'm going to try to get out for a walk and maybe do a bit of shopping later. I want to buy some steel cut oats for slow cooker oatmeal. Haven't tried this type of oatmeal before, but I have a new interest in oatmeal since I learned how tasty it can be with the right recipe.

Well I could have sworn I replied to this. We are getting hair cuts today, I am sitting here now, then a few errands to run and dinner out tonight for valentine's day

I have a 4 day weekend!!! Sitting at home doing nothing. Lauren came home so she could work this weekend, Friday and Saturday...now she's picked up tomorrow too. I may see if she wants to go out before her shift starts. There's a fairly new restaurant at my favorite nursery in Frankfort. Haven't eaten there and most of the reviews are good. Other than that and grocery shopping I have no plans.
