Could you provide a pic? Does the pot Have drainage holes and are you watering it thoroughly until water comes out the bottom? Cat palms like constantly moist soil and love humidity.

There are drainage holes, and I water it till it runs out the bottom. I have been spraying it regularly until recently. It just keeps getting worse, but it looks like it still has some life left in it.

I don't think your watering it enough. Like I said their soil must be constantly moist and must never be allowed to dry out.

If it still has green fronds emerging then it still has a chance. However if the new frond spikes are brown and dried out, there's no saving it.

I kept it moist throughout most of its life, but the slow death started long before I started to give up on it.

It hasn't grown at all in at least 6 months, just slowly browning or yellowing starting from the tips of the fronds. There's still more than half of it left thats green, but even those parts have brown tips. Guess it's finished.
