Edge pulls might work there and be almost invisible under the counter edge. You do want SOMEthing.

Yep, I'd do an edge pull rather than nothing. Although, I'm not sure how pulls would be in the way while working at the sink. Your counter will overhang the cabinet fronts about 1.5" so I don't see how pulls could be in the way.

I have a pull on my tilt out and have never had that problem. How is a pull on a tilt out any different than the pull on the top drawer of a stack? What am I missing?

You might install a push to open hardware. There are magnetic latches that feature a push to open mechanism, they are simple to install and do not cost much. The magnetic latch would push the tilt drawer face open just enough to allow you to get the drawer face open.

I'm interested to see what the responses are here. I tend to lean against the sink while I'm doing dishes and have wondering whether having hardware (even on a faux drawer) would be annoying.

So, you're in and out of the fold out, often with wet hands. Which will eventually, without hdw. affect the finish.

So, why not a longer handle similar to those used on refer. doors, which dive into the front on the ends, thus eliminating the snag issue, and provide a convenient place to hang a dish towel, for those wet hands.

Follow up - thanks for all the suggestions. I think the issue is the leaning against the sink while doing dishes..belt buckles and zippers will scratch the handle, or perhaps the handle will get in the way or just feel like an obstruction. My sister-in-law has a handle on her tilt-out drawer and says it's no problem, but she has a 1 inch overhang of counter. My overhang is not that big. I'm considering a finger-pull for just the tilt-outs. It'll be barely visible but will allow me to open it. I'm buying enough traditional pulls in case I change my mind!

Visually I wouldn't like having two pulls that are so different on the cabinets. I have pulls on my tilt outs and I lean into the sink and I do not even notice that they are there. As far as scratching goes, mine are stainless and do not scratch at all....not even slightly. But you can always just buy a couple of extra in case you need to replace them.

I have two cup pulls on my fake drawers under my kitchen sink and my master bathroom sink. I never notice them when at either sink. They are cheap brushed SS hardware at only $1.67 each and don't have a single scratch.

i have a fullsize pull on mine and i never even notice it i had to look up just now to make sure it was there .

I have 1 pull on my tilt out on a 27 1/4 inch sink base cabinet. My overhang is less than 1 inch. It does not get in the way at all. I don't even notice it there. If it did I would rather me hit the pull instead of the cabinet front. My thoughts were it easier to replace a scratched pull if in fact it even scratches than leaning against my cabinet and scratching the cabinet front.
