What color should I paint my exterior? PICS!

I'd love your opinions. I'm leaning toward a medium gray with off white trim and expresso stain. Would love specifics or other ideas. THANK YOU for your input!

I'm just a homeowner but I would also go with middle 1 on top row, it's darker now & I don't care for it, doesn't match as well as the middle top 1 which I think will give the house a warmer look, it blends in beautifully with the brick. Dark color makes the foundation area more "important looking" when brick should be the focal point.

Instead of painting the brick, if you still don't like them after having them sand blasted, consider staining them rather than painting them -- that would be a mistake. Seriously consider extending the deck the full width of the house -- better for use and resale value. alternately, build a covered porch from the deck and wrapping around the corner of the house, stopping at the chimney. If the deck (or a porch) were extended all the way to the end of the house, the higher ground would mean you'd only need a couple of steps to reach a patio on the end of your home. justgottabeme has the right idea with painting the foundation and window frames and siding already painted; however, you might consider using CWF or a dark, absorbant stain on the deck top and rails, painting only the posts (even with the foundation) rather than painting the actual deck or using a "solid stain" that looks like paint and, in my experience, doesn't hold up all that well..

Purple, bright blue, yellow. I live close to Lunenburg Nova Scotia and bright colours are everywhere and amazing combinations are plenty! Be bold! haha Let us know what colour you choose.

Here is a greenish gray with white trim. Your tall arborvitae need to be removed from in front of your windows, which I guessed at the shape in this image. Your home could benefit from some colorful landscaping in the front.

With the craftsman feel, I would paint the trim a dark color contrast to the house rather than white. Beautiful home.

Wow! Thanks for the ideas. I never considered dark trim. Here are a couple pics that inspired the house and the color scheme. But I'm definitely going to consider dark trim now! I'm searching for pics to inspire that new direction.

I'd vote for darker, earthier colours. I've attached a link to a house plan I've looked at-- I like the colors they used in the pics of the house.

The inspiration house is pseudo-Victorian. Different ball of wax.

Earth colors are the way to go.

I vote earthy colors, the body of the house either a mossy green or dark brown, trim dark taupe. Love the exterior!

sweet-tea, that's the BM Woodcliff Lake brown siding and Briarwood trim combo I suggested: brown and taupe. With black muntins. So gorgeous.
