I'm just a homeowner but I would also go with middle 1 on top row, it's darker now & I don't care for it, doesn't match as well as the middle top 1 which I think will give the house a warmer look, it blends in beautifully with the brick. Dark color makes the foundation area more "important looking" when brick should be the focal point.

Maybe you can try a large swatch of the finalists and see what happens after a couple weeks. It depends on what color your "dirt" is. Your side yard is all paved so I don't really know that you would pick up much from the ground. The light stucco on my building bases did not seem to get too dirty. Some of the darker colors were darker than the actual dirt or airborne "soot" or whatever it is, and showed dirt more. Kind of like a dark car (or black pants to use your analogy)...So it depends on your local environment.

Instead of painting the brick, if you still don't like them after having them sand blasted, consider staining them rather than painting them -- that would be a mistake. Seriously consider extending the deck the full width of the house -- better for use and resale value. alternately, build a covered porch from the deck and wrapping around the corner of the house, stopping at the chimney. If the deck (or a porch) were extended all the way to the end of the house, the higher ground would mean you'd only need a couple of steps to reach a patio on the end of your home. justgottabeme has the right idea with painting the foundation and window frames and siding already painted; however, you might consider using CWF or a dark, absorbant stain on the deck top and rails, painting only the posts (even with the foundation) rather than painting the actual deck or using a "solid stain" that looks like paint and, in my experience, doesn't hold up all that well..

I did it! I thought you might like to see it! All paint is from Kelly Moore… the board and batten is in Porpoise; the shingles are in Urbane Bronze and the trim is in Chopsticks. What do you think? I had so many colors I had to consider in the stone, the grout, the deck, the roof… it was tough!
