Tufted Titmouse question
Comments (8)This precious bird is one of my favorites and I love watching the 4 or 5 who frequent my yard and feeders all year long. They'll often hop around my patio and breezeway looking for a few spilled seeds...probably letting me know that the feeders are empty! They will pick out the shelled peanuts from the feeders, and like the dees, will grab one and fly off to a branch, but I've never seen them on my suet feeders. Hope they stick around as they are such a joy. Donna...See MoreTufted vs. Non-Tufted in Seat Cushions?
Comments (1)It's all a matter of personal style choice. There is the possibility of someone's belt etc. catching on a button and breaking the twine that holds it in place but, it's easily fixed. More of concern on seat cushions than back cushions....See MoreTufting on sofa m Tufting on sofa couch?
Comments (1)hi david :) we have been making tufted sofas and sectionals for a long time, so we've received some feedback from customers in regards to button tufting over the years. buttons on seats can be more uncomfortable than buttons on back pillows, also sometimes zippers or buttons on jeans or other pants can snag on seat cushion buttons. usually clothes don't interfere with buttons on back pillows or arms. when buttons pop off, usually pets or little fingers (kids and pets love to play with buttons) are to blame, so you may want to skip buttons if you have little ones. let me know if you have any other questions eva @ MONARCHSOFAS.COM FOLLOW MONARCH ON INSTAGRAM :)...See MoreIs this “too much tufting?”
Comments (6)The tufting on the outside of the chair looks rather bizarre to me. The purpose of tufting is (originally), to prevent the cushioning from clumping together easily... but the side of a sofa like this wouldn't have a big feather cushion, so it wouldn't be tufted. Of course today it's primarily just decorative, and decoration need not follow function... but I don't know. I would say it's too much tufting. However, if the room it would be in is very minimalist, then perhaps you could get a postmodern vibe going on, and it wouldn't be overwhelming. Maybe pair with Frank Gehry's Easy Edges side chair? (I jest, I jest. Or do I?)...See More- 9 years ago
