Any "Garden Art" junkies out there? :)

Hi Folk
I started on the exciting journey of glass totems, mushrooms etc but have accumulated far too much glass and it's taking over my life and home! I need to 'down size' to keep the peace at home with my 'significant other' and to get some garage room back!
Are there any other 'glass freaks' who live in SA especially, who would be interested in buy some cheap glass off me? I went 'wild' and bought heaps of stuff at opshops and garage sales and need to recoup some of my outlay. I'm NOT looking to make a profit so will re-sell it at 'opshop' prices. I promise you'll get a bargain!

I live in country SA but can get stuff to Adelaide or if anyone is driving through the 'South East' of SA and wants to drop in, my home is on the highway to Melbourne and Mt Gambier.

I have heaps of platters, microwave plates, bread & butter plates, bowls (large and small), vases, etc etc etc!

PLEASE save me from drowning in glass! :)

HI Max and everyone else- I agree, I miss the old days (other posting) but I'm still selling too- Laura- curious- why were you chastised for stating where you sell? Self promoting? 'sigh'- I sell at two local craft malls now, one flea market, and my front yard. I can't seem to wrap my mind around the shipping of a flower- but I am trying some smaller sized plates (drying right now!) so I may try that- I don't make a lot of money on them, either. I'd rather find the joy of making them, making some money to go shopping for more glass! I drill the glass, use copper pipe and GE II. There are more glass plate flowers surfacing in this area, so I'm trying to create my own look- Has anyone seem Garden Whimsies by Mary's facebook? she has over 200,000 fans and sells regularly on _______ fill in the blank!

I am sorry to hear about your cool cow weather vane getting stolen. It is amazing what people will steal! It's one of those things you'd think would be safe but I guess even thieves have different tastes. I do love the new turbine though. Is it able to turn in the wind? Because that would be very neat. I like your natural colored one but I also like the others in the pictures you posted. Doodys, I have no idea what your thing was in a past life but I sure like it where it is now! You're right, it does look like a crown. I agree with jiju, it looks great just the way it is.

Thanks for posting this link. I spent a long while gazing at the cottage paintings and saving some of them to my computer. I love these, so calming. Then I reached the Chihuly pond art! Wild! I wasn't familiar with his art. He surely brings that pond to life in a vibrant, rivetting way! And then the airplane/gnome sculpture! What a hoot! I agree with you though, it's a bit scarey!
