Diplomat Deli for their famous reuben sandwich!

Man sitting at next table was eating lox and cream cheese on rye. Looked really tempting. He sure was enjoying it.

Pioneer Woman's Fettuccine Alfredo, but I only use half of the Fettuccine called for and toss some large shrimp and fresh broccoli in toward the end of the pasta cooking time. Will toss in some sauteed mushrooms before adding the Alfredo sauce.

Am also roasting some eggplant (never had before) with zucchini, leeks and garlic.

It will be roast pork and roasted vegetables for dinner, but I'm not doing the cooking!

Glenda, I haven't had a reuben in ages. There's a local sub shop that used to make *really* good ones and I liked mine made with pastrami. They didn't call it a rachel -- it was just a reuben made with pastrami. yum!

Not sure. Debating between Ravioli with marinara sauce, spaghetti with meat sauce or a soupâ¦..all coming from the freezer. I'm in the process of making some crusty bread right now.

Another beautiful sunny day here today, a little chill in the air but really nice.
Went out to lunch today with friends my first outing.

Went with the spaghetti with meat sauce. Between the baking bread and the spaghetti sauce, it smells mighty good in here!

I made spaetzle and Swiss steak last night, and had left overs of that tonight, and ice cream for dessert.

Yesterday I bought shrimp and asparagus on sale and made shrimp, asparagus, mushroom tortellini with a white wine cream sauce.

Tonight I used the rest of the shrimp and made shrimp, asparagus, mushroom risotto. They were both really good, but I think the risotto today was a little bit better.

Again, I'm drooling over such good meals posted here. I'd come and eat with any one of you. Make plenty as I'd be back for seconds.

Glenda: I like reuben sandwiches. Don't get to the deli much anymore to get one.

Angela: I really would like your additions to the alfredo. I only added mushrooms to mine.

Party: Another house I'd like to visit tonight ... who cooked?

Georgysmom: It would be hard to choose out of those 3. I think I'd have to draw straws. (I see you chose the spaghetti).

Raven: I think I'd like to join you for dinner tonight, not just for the food, but for the good weather. Glad you're feeling better.

Phyllis: Had to look up spaetzle, looks good, esp when teamed up w/swiss steak.

Bob: I wouldn't mind having either last night's or tonight's meals. You 'done' good!!

It was clean out the fridge/leftovers night. Trying to make room for all the food for Sundays Superbowl party.

well for me nothing solid for a day or 2..(dental) but dh thought he was doing me a favor and bought a burrito.'.only with all the extras....lol...so by the time I took out all the lettuce, tomato, ect, not much left...but it was nice of him....hoping we'll get to enjoy the superbowl goodies...

Shirley, my BF did the cooking last night, but I made the gravy, applesauce, and salad to go with it. :)

I am so pissed... BF used a non-stick roasting rack I bought as a gift and the "non-stick" part peeled off and stuck to the bottom of the roast! It was only used once before, for a roast turkey a few weeks ago, and worked fine then. grrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!
