Either your pump is not pushing any water, (probably because it lost its prime) or you have a broken line somewhere. If its a broken line, let it run awhile. You will get a very wet spot. That's where the break is.

oldhousegal, I commend you. I'd love to be living that way - as they say "every journey begins with a single step". I found a website created by a grad student from Singapore who is studying "food perceptions" of all things. They are generally 3-4" long and alternate. Not aware of any Podocarpus close by but birds could have brought it from afar. This one has also been grazed by deer a few times.
