Administrator - help please

I am the administrator and the only one using my computer. I have Windows 7. I cannot save masks or copy one to the mask folder.
I am always told to contact the administrator. What settings do I need to change to allow me this privilege? Many thanks

Charlene, go to the bottom of the page and click CONTACT US under ABOUT US. Ask your question there.

K - She means "administrator" on her computer, not on GardenWeb.

Charlene - what do you mean by "mask"?

You would need to make sure the folder's permissions are "read/write"

When that happens it is saved into your browser and yes it can be accessed by anyone with access to the pc. I have a very nice notebook with plastic cover that is strictly for login details including passwords. You should have some thing other than a scrap of papers. Over time as you sign up for various sites you have a pile of papers. I don't put passwords in any program and don't use a password keeper. I have a copy saved on a flash drive, the notebook that is in a locked location. If someone makes it into my house, kills me and my husband, manages to steal my computers and also finds and steals the notebook too they can have it! I tape the router and wifi information on the bottom of the router.

Whatever it is you wish to use/run right click on it then on run as administrator, to always run something this way right click on shortcut or program then go to properties, then tab compatibility then near the bottom put a check in always run as administrator.

I had a similar problem also but it did not stop me from doing what I needed to do. It was asking permission to do everything, but I just had to ok it. I finally found a way to stop it by lowering a slider that promptly told me it was not a secure thing to do. At that point I did not care.

The slider was in the control panel, user accounts.
