Has anyone used saran wrap to zone push?

It seems like it would work perfectly on something you want to zone push but don't want a permanent greenhouse for. It also solves the problem of being as large/wide as you like. The down sides would be hardly any frost protection with out some kind of heat source, and wind...

My questions are:

1.) Does the saran wrap allow the light through that plants need to grow? I heard somewhere some materials that are clear don't allow that wave length through. I could have heard wrong but I rather be safe than sorry.

2.) How would you go about heating one up safely with out costing a fortune?

3.) How would one heat up the soil?- won't ever use heating coils again. The soil here would be cool and moist. I would need the soil to remain at least 10f+ above the soil temps outside the structure. Seems like a small greenhouse couldnt accomplish that although I could be wrong.

I'm seriously considering just planting my coco straight into the ground. Eventually it will have to be planted, there is no way around it.
