I guess word has gotten around by now, but I haven't seen any discussions over here like I have on other forums. This actually happened back in January. "Last week, GardenWeb joined the Houzz family. You may even belong to both GardenWeb and Houzz already!" This week some GW'ers are getting e-mails from Tamara (yes, they are legit) about sending in your mailing address and getting a small token from GW in the mail. There is even buzz that some of the less-active forums may disappear once Houzz is fully in charge. Don't know if that's true or not but Houzz apparently has there own 'forum', although it's nothing like the friendly chat and exchange here at GW. Jokes abound about how we'll have Appliancezz and Kitchenzz forums. We'll see.

I was up too late....:-( of course you confirmed, Paula. Peren.all, are you saying you had to go to Last Name to add zone? I entered it on same line under First Name. When I first logged in (confirmed) (seems like ages ago now) my username "josephines67" appeared without the zone etc because that information, Houzz staff explained later as members were having problems navigating, did not transfer over...so I tried the First Name box and typed in exactly what my name was before without having to change it. Then I browsed around a bit within my profile, etc. to see what touching a field produced. I guess I was lucky as it was an easy transition. We could not change our username at GW (I tried months ago) so I didn't think we could here either...I admit I didn't even try. You'll get help locating your other info soon...hang in there!

For each notification you receive for a new comment, you can also turn off notifications for just that discussion by looking for two links at the bottom of the email. One will turn them off for just that thread, the other will turn them off for all threads. Hope that helps!
