Front yard tree

Decided to create a new thread, since the other was dedicated to choosing a line.

Kwanzan Cherry is coming out, have a Bloodgood in the bed behind it. Ruled out pines, ornamental cherry, red maples, what do you folks think? Eastern Redbud has been mentioned as a possible choice. Dont know much about them, other than a spring flowering period and fall/winter berries. A chaste lilac was also suggested, but isnt that sort of like a crape myrtle with different and fragrant blooms? Might be good for a hummingbird garden out back, but didnt sound right out front. Also thought about another upright japanese maple (north facing yard with mostly full sun except late afternoon.
