Hard to say for sure, but my guess is that "she" is too wet, and possibly slightly shocky from the cold. Wilting can mean too dry or sopping wet, when it comes to Spathiphyllum, so if the soil is wet now, leave it alone for a while whether the plant is wilting or not. It probably isn't the whole cause of your problems, but that's a mighty big jump in pot size. Since you don't say how wide the pot is, I'm not sure how big of a jump it was, but standard-sized pots are as tall as they are wide, so you probably went from a 5-inch to an 8-inch. That's a big jump, and a lot of extra wet, heavy soil for an already-stressed plant to take on all at once. My best guess for what to do is, for right now, don't do anything. Don't water, don't feed, don't repot, nothing. Set it in a bright, warm spot (not full direct sun, but bright) and leave it alone for one or two weeks. After that, move it down to a six-inch pot. Unless a plant is very large and very potbound, it's not a good idea to go up by more than two inches in pot size: an extra inch of new soil on every side of the root ball is usually plenty. This may or may not save the plant, but if it doesn't, peace lilies are pretty easy to find. It's not like you won't be able to try again.

Hi All, Interestingly Toni, I found this varieg. one tougher to grow than the regular, which I also used to grow. Have since given up on Spaths, watering a bit too tricky for me now & it's a houseplant, that while quite lovely, I ended up quitting for the sake of more succulents & of course, more Hoyas! For interested parties, these sometimes show up in supermarkets (nice sized one my at my market 1 or 2 yrs. ago for $9) &/or box stores, often called Spath "Domino".

Hi SarahofLayton, I just want to welcome you and to say that your are in good company here. Many will give you great information and it will become easy to understand and really become confortable in your ability to understand what you plants needs are. They will tell you what and when and we are here to tend to those needs. Al has listed some links for you to read and i know you will find them useful. Don't worry if you need to reread them and take your time in soaking in all of this information. This is really a good time to learn and get aquainted in your knowledge for the care of all of your plants. The repotting will wait until Spring/summer, depending on where you live. So, don't feel that you need to take on to much now. : ) I remember the Ficus that Rina Had to tackle and she did a great job with that huge tree. She knew what she wanted to do. Then she learned what needed to be done with the help of many including AL. They did a great job on that tree. Great teamwork!!! : ) So relax, read and know that many here will help you, encourage you and teach you all that you would like to learn. I have learned so much here in the last few years and i am so glad to have found this forum and to have the support here. Many here have taught me and i can't thank them enough... including Al, Mike and many more.. Taking a tree and having the confidence to do whatever is needed is the most rewarding feeling when you know it will be happy in your hands. You will see such inprovement in the health of your trees. But remember, that they don't always respond to the repotting as fast as we would like to see, so don't worry. They have their own time to relax and get comfortable in their new enviroment. I wish we got more rain here in dry old Texas!!! I did use tap water on both plants today only but I plan on buying distilled water and collecting rain water when I can. The cleareance rack amazes me at times. Some plants could still be sold at full price if someone would take the time out to pull off the brown leaves!!! Last week Walmart had a basket full of Huge wilted Peace lillies. They were probably two of three bucks!!! I saw some ladies asking about them and I told them if they have the space they should definitely buy one. With some water and TLC they would have a huge specimen for a big fraction of the price!!!
