We had a great time with our families, my DH's parents, his brother & girl friend, our daughter & grand daughter were here for dinner. My DH and I got up at 5A.M. to start roll & fry 120 egg rolls, it was 1 P.M. when we got done cleaning up the mess. Everyone enjoyed. Packed up bunch of egg rolls for the dogie bags. Jan, never say never, we had snow on Christmas here a couple of years ago. I've been trying to find the pic taken from a satellite, it looks cool with the coast of Texas ringed in white. I wasn't happy, out pulling in plants in the middle of the night, but most people enjoyed it. Brad don't go to Sam's! They have some huge christmas/thanksgiving cactus. A white with pink tinged one jumped in my basket and then forced a little old lady to buy it's brother. Upper 50's here, it's been 8-20 degrees below normal here for almost a month. At least the rain quit. HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE! Spring is on the way. Have a great holiday everyone. I'll be at work Christmas day. Tally HO!

A friend had posted this on FB the other day, I LOVE it! I accept any wishes for happiness and joy, whether it's for the holiday I celebrate, or otherwise. This went along with a lesson I tried to teach my ESL students. They knew that in my classroom, all were friends, and we all were to treat each other with care and respect, and to thank someone when they said or did something nice. A good lesson for us all. :)
