A Book List: Good Novels for Hard Times

I love looking at book lists. I came across this one in an old magazine article (dated 1985). It seems as we enter a time of economic unrest and upheaval, some of you might find this list interesting. Let us know if you've read any of these and would like to comment on any of them.
