Stop! What is your favorite color?!...

I am a school bus driver that loves Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I have two questions.

1. What is the name of the character that bars the way across the brokendown bridge? Asks the great questions...

2. How can I get a picture of his face with the question 'What is the capitol of Assyria!?'. I simply have to have one. I can't find a pic from the movie of that particular character. I would pay to have it made. Can anyone help?

Actually I just found out it's The Bridge Keeper! I even found a great picture of an action figure of him. Which I printed! aaaand now I need to know how to turn it into a iron-on transfer. With the words Stop! Whhhat is your favorite color!
What I really want is to say my favorite question Whhhat is the capitol city of Assyria!? But the kids wouldn't get it I don't think. But then...should I care? I'm the one who thinks the Bridge Keeper is great...maybe it should be my favorite question...right? :) Kim

I'm growing greens in large stock tanks this year on a deck, so can get some free from slug and vole predations for the first time. The lettuces are perhaps too crowded to form big heads, the arugula and the baby bok choy is bolting. An unusual green I'm enjoying is Brassica juncea, Ruby Streak and Golden Frill, from Evergreen seeds. The Ruby Streak is bolting, but the Golden Frill is larger and not bolting yet. It is making long leaves with lots of frill, finely divided, so it is quite crisp, yet still tender. I'm going to have to keep trying on the lettuce. I've found that some greens like Wild Red Kale, and turnips left in the ground for spring greens, need to be planted by July 15 in order to get large enough to make it through the winter. I had some excellent bok choy one year planted in the fall, but can't seem to duplicate it. It won't make it during the winter, though. A wild green I enjoyed up until frost last year and in early spring this year is Sheep Sorrel, for a sour lemony taste.

Thanks Lynn, but this pic was of the home I just left because the landlord was moving his mother in there so I had to go. The landlords own a tile company so they did a wonderful job with the floors, granite tile contertop, and tiling the bathrooms. They got cheap with bathroom cabinmets and lighting and bedroom carpets. I am now renting a different home about 3 miles south of the 1st one I rented in Phoenix. This neighborhood is nicer. But if I do not find a job or some other source of income I will have to go into subsidized housing next month since I am out of money. My part time job cut hours drastically so I am only working like 4-6 hours a week at $10.95 an hour. That ain't enough for even groceries. I am going to go to St. Vincent de Paul tomorrow to pick up food. I applied for like 6 jobs today. I apply online almost everyday but no calls or emails are coming in to me. It is frustrating. I am praying non-stop now for God to make another miracle in my life. I should be done with chemo by the end of March and have my reversal ileostomy surgery (called a take down) in early May. Then recovery from that and re-adjustment to using my colon again. So I am getting closer to the end of this year long struggle. Thanks be to God! Thanks for the compliment!

I had my "season" done years ago. I find it to be true today. I prefer earthy fall colors. Walls however are not made to carry that much pigment. My walls are all pale yellow/cream so my accessories can be as deep and rich as is satisfying without making the room a cave. At the most I may lean towards a darker or lighter shade of a color vs. a NEW to me color being added to my home.

Kim, stick with the question about favourite colour, otherwise you'll have to throw the lot of them into the Gorge of Eternal Peril. The schoolboard won't be happy.

By the way, the Bridgekeeper is also known as The Old Man from Scene 24.

(You caught me at a good time with this question, having just very recently watched the Holy Grail for the umpteenth time...)

Oh ok, no questions about Assyria....I did find a young woman on my H.S. route that can draw exceptionally well and I am going to provide her with the sweatshirt and necessary art items and she will provide the talent. ...Maybe I could ask them the questions on the way home, if they want to be able to get off the bus :). I will have that voice in my head the rest of the day now.

Ok, just for clarification, I just checked and, apparently, the capital of Assyria is AÂÂur. This, incidentally, is also the name of the god for Assyria.
