You are probably talking about P. coronarius but P. lewisii is prevalent in commerce at this time due to interest in native plantings. You might as well plant the native, unless there is something about P. coronarius you are trying to capture. If you want to see who had what (among the many participating nurseries) some years back see The Plant Locator - Western Region (2004, Black-Eyed Susans/Timber, Portland). I like P. lewisii 'Blizzard' because it has dark purple stems that contrast with its profuse flowers, making it more than just a green bush with white flowers.

I now that Barbara Cartland was discarded as the author of the novel you are looking for, but there is one book she wrote that seems to meet all the requirements. The dress is mentioned several times during the novel because she looked so beautiful, so "breathtaking" that even one of the DukeÂs guests went to her bedroom in the middle of the night to seduce her. I pondered buying this dinnerware, since I really don't have anything that screams Christmas or just winter for entertaining. Wanted something I could use all winter, so not specifically Christmas like santa or christmas tree design. I would buy it but I don't need more mugs and don't have any tea or coffee accoutrements to go with the mugs either. If I do actually get something, it will probably be something solid cream colored with a raised pattern, something like what MDLN posted but cream colored, will go with my other china and more practical. I don't have storage room for lots of dishware, I can see how it could become an addictive pastime . . . not high on the priority list since I rarely was able to entertain even BEFORE the pandemic. But a gal can dream . . .
